The Merano 2000 skiing area offers picture book winter holidays as there is no lack of sun and snow at the high plateau above the Merano basin. From December until the end of March you will find perfect snow conditions for experienced skiers as well as beginners on the slopes of Merano 2000.

Beautiful slopes with a unique view
The ski area Merano 2000 on the sunny high plateau above Merano is the ideal area for the whole family. It offers real fun for everyone who likes skiing, whether beginners or professionals. With its 40 km of well-groomed ski runs and various levels of difficulty, ski lovers will be delighted. Not only is there no waiting time at the ski lifts, but also a beautiful and unique panoramic view.
The sunny area guarantees long days of skiing and pleasant breaks on one of the numerous sun terraces at the cosy Alpine ski huts.
For all those who never tier of skiing, in January and February the area around Falzeben offers a lighted ski slope that is open every Friday between 7:30 p.m. Until 10:30 p.m.
Cross-country skiing
The cross-country ski trails offer delightfull cross-country skiing. The ski run in Hafling–Falzeben is 5 km long and has only a moderate incline (equipment can be rented at the lower station Falzeben). In the Wieser Meadows in Voeran ( above the Gruener Baum inn – direction Leadner Alp) cross-country skiers will find complete satisfaction on the 7km long cross-country ski trail through woods and meadows
